Corporate Social Responsibility

At TY Danjuma Family Office, we believe CSR should be a big part of every business strategy, and play a key role in building a long-term sustainable growth. That is why ours focuses on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) impact and brings value to our stakeholders.

Committing to CSR offers many advantages to both society and our business. By attracting employees who share the same values as us, we can encourage the influence of CSR to grow within our workplace – ensuring our employees’ work as a team to donate their time and money to fundraising, volunteering and successful practices that positively impact our surroundings.

CSR Policy

TY Danjuma Family Office makes a conscious effort to considerately and progressively contribute towards society. Our structured CSR policy provides a framework and governing guidelines that ensure we achieve our CSR goals by providing a valued and positive approach to issues where we feel we can help.

Recent Activity

At TY Danjuma Family Office, we are very proud of all of our CSR efforts, including both our ongoing support of particular causes and our one-off activities.

Since 2014, TY Danjuma Family Office has taken part in several fundraising activities in aid of Princess Alice Hospice. In December 2019, the Hospice hosted its annual Santa Fun Run, where we raised an impressive amount for the charity event, which included the matched funds offered from the CSR Committee.
TY Danjuma Family Office also donates annually to this local charity, most recently in December 2019, in lieu of sending out paper Christmas cards – replacing them with Christmas e-cards.

We also support the Esher Foodbank in our local Elmbridge community, previously volunteering during their busy Christmas periods to help with hamper packing. More recently, we helped with their Harvest Festival collections and stock organisation, as well as donating funds to support them throughout the foodbank shortage crisis they experienced due to Covid-19.
TY Danjuma Family office also supported the Hammersmith & Fulham Foodbank by donating to their fundraising project to find a new location to host their service, and a further sum in August 2019 to support their continued service.

Since 2016 TY Danjuma Family Office has supported and sponsored a young rising tennis star from Nigeria, Marylove Edwards, in her pursuit to break into the top 500 players in the global world rankings by the end of 2020.

TY Danjuma Family Office has also proudly agreed to an ongoing engagement with TY Danjuma Foundation – starting with our donation of an ambulance for Rufkatu Danjuma Maternity in Nigeria. In addition, we committed to an annual donation to the Foundation, which will help support health and education interventions in communities in need across Nigeria.

Alongside these ongoing routes of donation and volunteering, TY Danjuma Family Office has implemented a recycling initiative in its office, donated to several charities throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as taking steps to focus on more volunteering work.
