Starchild Pictures
Starchild Pictures is a feature film production company, focussing on developing movies from script to screen. Projects include the sleeper hit, The Liability, starring Tim Roth, Jack O’Connell and Talulah Riley about a hitman who takes on his boss’s step-son as an assistant. Starchild also produced the cult creature horror film, Howl, starring Ed Speleers as a lowly train inspector who has to lead a ragtag group of passengers to safety when their broken down train is set upon by werewolves. Starchild’s current release is the hot Sundance title, His House: an arthouse horror film starring Sope Dirisu, Wunmi Mosaku and Matt Smith. It is due to have its premier worldwide on Netflix later this year.
Upcoming projects include a science fiction thriller set in a near-future world where a technological innovation is about to change the world of international finance forever… and with dire consequences; a biopic about a talented young actor who’s journey to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts and Shakespeare on the stage began on the streets of South London as gang member and drug dealer; and a period horror film set on a sugar plantation at the turn of the nineteenth century, shortly after the abolition of slavery.
Danjuma Collection Ltd
Danjuma Collection consists of over 500 works of contemporary art that have been acquired over the last decade.
The collection includes works by emerging and more established artists from the United States and Europe, while also being supplemented by a permanent collection of work by artists of African descent.
The collection features works by artists such as Tracey Emin, Anthony Gormley, Albert Oehlen, Wade Guyton, Pieter Hugo, Lynette Yiadom Boakye and Sterling Ruby.
Works from the collection are available for loan.
